Situated on a slope, the hotel offers beautiful views of the caldera and the whole island. While it may be a bit remote, it's easily accessible by car or ATV and the bus stop is not far away. Guests have raved about the fantastic views throughout the hotel and the location is excellent for those who prefer walking into the nearby village. The hotel is just a few minutes from Red Beach and numerous other attractions and beaches are within easy reach. While the uphill climb to Alkotiri town may be a bit difficult for some, most guests have found the location to be perfect - away from the business of things but yet close enough to walk or ride to different destinations. Those who have rented a car have found that Akrotiri is actually the best location if you're looking for privacy and you can reach any place on the island easily. The hotel has also received praise for its jacuzzi, which offers stunning views of the caldera.
