If you're heading to Athens for a luxurious getaway, you'll definitely want to check out the amazing swimming pool options at Grand Hyatt Athens. From the lovely indoor pool and spa area to the fantastic rooftop pool with stunning views of the Acropolis, there are plenty of choices to suit every taste. Though renovations were going on at the top floor pool during some guests' stays, both outdoor pools were still decent and the lively atrium pool was ideal for kids. Guests loved the exceptional spa and pool facilities, including the ice bath, sauna, Jacuzzi and hydro-massage. However, note that the indoor pool is only operational from 13:00 - 17:00 for kids and you may need to make a reservation to use it. While some guests reported minimal seating around the rooftop pool and complained of cold water temperatures, others raved about the amazing rooftop views and rooftop bar and restaurant. Just be aware that the pool was closed for two days for cleaning during some guests' stays and the entire roof was booked for a party during others. Though there were some issues with limited seating and sunlight around the pools, fleas by the pool downstairs and the small size of some pools, overall guests agree that the pool area is beautiful and a great addition to the hotel's many great facilities.
