Guests loved the indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river and water slides with several positive comments about the warm temperatures of the water. Families especially loved the pool area with kids having a great time running around and playing. However, some guests were unhappy with the pool's size as it got overcrowded and there were long lines for the slides. Additionally, some reviews criticized the lack of parental supervision, resulting in some incidents such as double closures due to fecal contamination. Despite some reservations being required for the pool area, some guests still felt that there were too many people for them to comfortably enjoy themselves. Overall, while some guests had issues with pool reservations, crowds and additional charges for some amenities, many found the pool area to be spectacular, fun and well-kept.

Parking
The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center boasts a spacious parking lot. They provide numerous handicapped parking spots, ensuring guests with varied needs can park with ease. To top it off, some guests also found the lack of shuttle service to and from the airport disappointing.

Business
The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center is a great choice for business travelers attending events at the nearby convention center or Denver International Airport. The conference center is exquisite and offers something for everyone. The hotel offers convenience with its shops and restaurants, though some guests found the restaurant hours restrictive. However, the high-end restaurants don't offer shuttle service. Some complained that the hotel was understaffed during crowded events like the Triple Crown event. Regardless, the convenience for the NDK Convention was appreciated. Overall, guests found the hotel's facilities to be great for conventions. While some guests did encounter hidden fees, others found the hotel staff to be very accommodating. Though, a few reviewers believed the hotel was expensive for what it offered. Pool Water Slide
The Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center boasts an impressive pool area that is perfect for kids to run around and have fun. Guests specifically rave about the water slides, which offer two large inside slides and one small outside slide. While the lines for the slide can be long, guests still find it worth the wait. The outdoor slide advertised in promotional materials is not present, but the other options more than make up for it. However, some guests note that there are restrictions on slide use with some being reserved and height requirements enforced inconsistently. Despite this, guests generally find the pools and slides to be a great addition to their stay.

Lazy River
Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center is a superb location for families and individuals looking for a fun-filled getaway. The lazy river is definitely one of the main attractions of the hotel with guests praising the warmth, the well-maintained condition and the fact that it's not too deep for younger children. The chair tubes provided help guests relax and float along the water, while the fast-paced current adds some excitement to the ride. Some guests even went as far as saying that the lazy river felt awesome!

However, some guests expressed concern about the safety of the lazy river, particularly if younger children are involved. Although the current adds some fun, kids trying to dive underneath other guests can make some parts of the ride tricky to navigate. Moreover, a few guests expressed disappointment when they found out that the lazy river was closed during their stay or not as advertised.

Apart from the lazy river, the outdoor pool and hot tub were also well-received among guests. As with any swimming pool, there were a few comments mentioning a slight burn to guests' eyes due to chlorine levels, although this didn't seem to significantly hamper their enjoyment of the hotel's amenities.
