Some guests did note that the pool isn't ideal for children - it's more geared towards adults - and that the pool looks a bit bigger in photos than it is in reality. For those who do decide to use the pool, it's worth knowing that the jacuzzi wasn't always working, so that may be something to keep in mind.

One slightly strange aspect of the hotel is that the pool is right next to the diner area, which means anyone eating there can see you swimming. However, this didn't seem to bother guests too much.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that parking can be a bit of a hassle here. The hotel's own parking garage is closed, which means you'll need to park in an open lot behind the building. Some guests reported issues with car break-ins, so be sure to take precautions. Additionally, there are 11 floors in the hotel, but only one working elevator, so you may find yourself needing to take the stairs.

Overall, though, if you're looking for a nice pool in a good location, Holiday Inn & Suites Pittsfield-Berkshires, an IHG Hotel could be a great choice.
