Situated within the grounds of the historic homestead the hotel is set amidst two acres of manicured gardens adjacent to Echo Point.
With 85 spacious guestrooms and suites Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa offers a wide range of accommodation options to meet the needs of every guest. The property opened in 1883 and quickly became a popular retreat among the high society. It gained its name in 1886 in an honour to Lord Carrington, Governor of New South Wales. The mountain retreat was popular until 1970s. As tourism to the mountains dwindled, in 1985, The Carrington closed its doors and was reopened in 1998.
