The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk away from the main city center and within walking distance to all major points of interest. Guests appreciate the short walk into the heart of the city, the peaceful setting and the ability to explore the side streets. While some guests found the location a bit too far from the center, it is still considered a great location with helpful staff and easy access to the tram station. Overall, a well-situated hotel in a lovely part of Bordeaux.

The hotel features a beautiful courtyard with a gorgeous heated pool - an amazing bonus to cool down after exploring the city. There are also comfy sunbeds and the pool area never feels crowded, so it's ideal for relaxation. The rooftop was unfortunately closed during our stay. The indoor pool was also mentioned positively. The pool lacks service, however, it still offers a peaceful and inviting ambiance. The pool isn't enormous, but it is in phase with the charm of the hotel. The swimming pool was most welcome and pleasant and the compact size made it ideal for cooling off. The lack of sunlight and beds are a disadvantage though. The access to the spa comes with additional charges. Some guests also had a noise issue due to the room's location facing the occupied pool. Despite the minor setbacks, guests highly recommend this hotel for the magnifique property, welcoming staff, excellent service and, of course, the jolie piscine.

However, some guests were disappointed and felt that the hotel was not worthy of its 5 stars due to some flaws.
