It is also close to the bus stop for a quick 20-minute walk to Capital Hill. The hotel's location was deemed convenient since everything was just a stone's throw away. Guests appreciated the hotel's proximity to Fyshwick, Manuka, Griffith and Kingston, as well as attractions like the National Gallery of Australia, Parliament and High Court. Some guests also found the location to be ideal for a great view of the lake. Although a few guests had negative comments regarding the location, the majority agreed that Ramada Diplomat Canberra offers a fantastic location with great value for money.

The service check-in and out were excellent and the breakfast was lovely. Restaurant staff were friendly and the manager was really helpful. The staff service was exceptional and the location was good. Overall, the hotel provides great value for money with welcoming and helpful staff, except for a few areas where the staff need training.
