The Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa is perfectly situated at the doorstep of Cape Town, providing its guests with exquisite and stunning views of both the ocean and the mountain behind it. Its location is well situated but a bit further away from the city buzz, providing a lovely setting to relax and enjoy the wonderful sea views, especially during the sunset. Despite being slightly out on a limb, the hotel offers a free shuttle service into Camps Bay, which is just 800 meters away. The location and views are exceptional and the hotel's layout and 5-star service only enhances the experience. For those who like to explore, there are nice walks in the mountain and the location is an ideal starting point to explore the Kaphalbinsel and Kapstadt. However, some reviewers did mention that it is necessary to take taxis or use a shuttle service since the hotel sits across a very busy highway from the beach and on the main Camps Bay road, which can sometimes be loud.
