Excellent
Location
Hayfield Manor is the perfect location for those looking to be close to the city centre while enjoying a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. With stunning views out to the town, guests are able to walk into town and explore all that it has to offer. Conveniently located close to UCC and the Blarney Castle, the property location is great and lots of stuff is within walking distance. The location, service, decor and ambiance all receive top marks from guests. The lovely grounds and convenient parking add to the hotel's charm. While it may be hard to get a reservation for the restaurant, guests note that there are not many good restaurants at walking distance. Overall, Hayfield Manor's great location and beautiful surroundings make for a memorable stay.

Breakfast
Hayfield Manor offers an excellent breakfast experience for their guests with a fantastic selection of fruit, fry and pastries. If you're a coffee lover, you'll be pleased with their great coffee. The staff is fantastic, highly efficient and offers an excellent service. Most guests had breakfast that was fab, beautiful, excellent, gorgeous, fantastic or very good. The food is also great and the scones in particular are amazing and some guests even enjoyed afternoon tea upon arrival. The hotel offers a luxurious experience that's hard to beat. However, some guests had to wait a long time due to missed orders and the ventilation wasn't great due to closed doors in the breakfast room. All in all, Hayfield Manor's breakfast is highly recommended, but there is some room for improvement.

Dinner
Guests who have dined at Hayfield Manor have raved about the food and service with many describing the experience as fabulous and excellent. The Perrot Restaurant comes highly recommended for superb cuisine, while the normal dining room also served up a lovely dinner. Some guests had ordinary or disappointing meals, especially with the turkey and ham proving dry. A few also complained about the temperature of the warm pear tart, which was stone cold. Despite these minor setbacks, the general consensus is that Hayfield Manor offers wonderful dining, although some diners felt it fell short of exceptional standards. Nevertheless, Hayfield Manor is an excellent choice for those looking to indulge in a fine dining experience in Ireland.

Rooms
Hayfield Manor is a charming and historic hotel set in beautifully manicured gardens. The rooms are generally luxurious, clean and spacious with comfortable beds and picturesque views. Guests have raved about the ambience of the hotel, the excellent food and the helpful staff. However, some reviewers have noted that certain rooms are expensive and in need of updating. Some of the complaints include outdated decor, peeling wallpaper and small showers. Despite this, the hotel maintains its olde world charm and travelers seeking a comfortable and luxurious stay in a great location will not be disappointed.

Beds
One of the standout features of Hayfield Manor, according to guests, is the comfort of the beds. Reviewers repeatedly praised the hotel for its very comfortable beds, calling them relaxing and comfortable. However, a few guests noted that the mattresses were too soft with one reviewer stating that it affected their sleep. One guest even described the mattress as lumpy and uncomfortable. Despite these few negative comments, the majority of guests found the beds to be extremely comfortable with one guest going as far as to say that their bed was "extremely comfortable!" However, some guests found the rooms to be too warm and suggested that the addition of a sheet would have made a difference in their comfort. With guests raving about the comfortable beds, it's no wonder Hayfield Manor is a top choice for those looking for a cozy stay in the valleys and mountains of Ireland.

Cleanliness
Hayfield Manor is a beautiful hotel with a reputation for its exceptional cleanliness. The rooms are well maintained and immaculate with attention to detail by the front of house and table service staff. While a couple of guests noted some minor issues with smudges on walls, worn soap holders in showers and peeling wallpaper, overall the hotel is spotlessly clean. If you're looking for a hotel that takes cleanliness seriously, Hayfield Manor is the perfect choice.

Staff
The staff at Hayfield Manor are exceptional with many guests praising their kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. From Frank the concierge and Ruth at the front desk to the waitresses and managers, everyone goes above and beyond to provide personalized and friendly service. Guests feel welcomed and well taken care of with many describing the staff as courteous, helpful and genuine. The exceptional service is evident in every aspect of the hotel, including the facilities, food and overall hospitality. Even in the current climate, guests feel safe and well-organized thanks to the hotel's attention to detail and the staff's responsiveness. Whether you need help with a special request or are simply looking for a pleasant stay, the staff at Hayfield Manor are sure to make your experience top-notch.

5 Star
Hayfield Manor is a rare treasure, drawing guests in with its exceptional service and five star reputation. While some reviewers have claimed that it falls short of five star standards, most agree that it is a truly exceptional hotel with authentic charm and impeccable facilities. There were a few guests who found the relaxation area off the pool mediocre, but otherwise, the hotel's high standard of service and amenities make it a must-visit destination for luxury travel enthusiasts.
