Location

Omni Viking Lakes is a beautiful hotel that is located in a very convenient location. The hotel is just minutes away from the airport, dining and shopping areas. The location of the hotel is excellent with a great view of the stadium and the Vikings roaming the property. It is conventionally located off 494 and close to the mall of America. Guests found the location of the hotel to be very convenient for their visit with family. While there were a few negative comments about the location, overall the location was good and close to everything. The only downside was that the parking was far away and the access to the hotel was not easy. However, guests did find that driving to stores and getting food was pretty close to the hotel.

Rooms

Omni Viking Lakes is a gorgeous building both inside and out with spacious and relaxing rooms. Guests loved the Deluxe King rooms that were nice and highlighted the shower as a standout feature. The hotel is very clean and quiet which makes for a comfortable stay. The rooms are good size and spotless, nicely decorated and modern with suites that have a bathtub and shower combo. The excellent rooms and service met guests' expectations and the bedding was comfortable with big, thick, heavy and absorbent towels. Guests were impressed by the invigorating and beautiful view towards TCO stadium, which is worth it. The large windows make for a fantastic experience. Although there's no room service, the spacious rooms with lovely decor, comfortable beds and wonderful soaking tubs in enormous bathrooms, more than made up for it. The location is nice and the lobby is clean and modern, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Guests consistently describe the mattresses as plush and extremely comfortable with many saying they enjoyed some of the best sleep of their lives. Everywhere you go, you're sure to find staff members who are super attentive, kind and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. They even removed the snow from the car windshields! Bridget and Dave at the front desk are amazing and know how to make their guests feel welcome. The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. It's also worth mentioning that seeing some of the Vikings players was a wonderful surprise. All in all, this hotel has a truly fabulous staff who make your stay an unforgettable experience.
