Golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the hotel is in a great location for playing at the nearby Edzell Golf Club with views over the course. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location allows for easy access to other areas, including Glamis Castle, Glen Clova and the beach at Montrose. While some guests noted that the road outside the hotel was slightly noisy, others found it to be a good quiet location. Overall, the Glenesk Hotel offers a fabulous location and is an ideal base for those looking to explore Glen Esk and the surrounding areas.
