Buko Beach Resort is the perfect place for those looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation overlooking the ocean. The location is ideal for watching the sunset and is quieter than the town, offering a small and quaint atmosphere right on the beach. The resort is well located, close enough to the town to explore El Nido, while also being convenient for accessing the airport, St. Francis Church, El Nido Market and other nearby attractions. Guests can enjoy the best sunset views from the pool or at the deli bar and the hotel provides easy access to nearby beaches such as Corong Corong beach and Maremegmeg beach. The hotel's location is also great for taking trips and exploring the area. Overall, guests rave about the amazing location with the ocean at their feet and the breathtaking views of the beach and sea.

Breakfast

Buko Beach Resort offers an amazing breakfast experience for its guests. The restaurant provides a great selection of food and drinks to choose from and allowed guests to get smaller portions of different meals, which was wonderful. Many guests loved having breakfast at the restaurant due to its beautiful view of the surroundings. The breakfast offered is brilliant, delicious and in big servings, which left guests feeling satisfied. Guests raved about the pancakes and poached eggs, which were the best. The a la carte selection was great and overall, the breakfast was amazing every day. Some guests even suggested that the hotel should consider offering additional concessions to the breakfast offering due to its excellence. Guests who also tried the lunch and dinner recommended them too, saying they were excellent as well. Overall, the food at the Buko Beach Resort was really good and even those who do not usually eat breakfast enjoyed it.

Rooms

Buko Beach Resort offers a variety of lovely rooms including spacious Sea View Cottages and beautiful, well-equipped bungalows. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the sea or the pool from their private sun loungers. The unique outdoor bathrooms are a stunning feature and remind you that you're on a tropical island. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy with mosquito prevention measures in place. Staff are great and rooms are decorated with care and charm. While some guests found the Grand Villa disappointing, overall the individual rooms were a hit and definitely worth recommending.

Cleanliness

Buko Beach Resort is a beautiful and clean establishment with well-maintained gardens and a lovely pool. The bungalows are also charming and comfortable. The staff is wonderful and keeps the rooms clean and well-stocked. Guests had a good experience overall, although there were some areas of the facilities that were a bit dusty and broken. However, some negative feedback includes the presence of mosquitoes, bugs, ants and even cockroaches in some of the rooms. Some towels were stained and while the sheets were clean, they appeared to be old. Despite this, most visitors felt that the hotel was deserving of a 5-star rating with everything from the view to the attention to detail making them feel right at home. No matter which room you choose, you'll feel close to nature yet still comfortable.

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a small resort, Buko Beach Resort is a must-visit. Not only does the resort provide stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, but the staff truly goes above and beyond. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel like family with extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly team members. Stephanie and Jan on reception are lovely and really nice, always looking forward to helping guests with anything they need. The staff is super nice and attentive, constantly going out of their way to ensure guests have an incredible stay. In fact, almost all the staff with special mention to Esmeralda, went above and beyond to make guests' stays unforgettable. From checking in to checkout, the staff provided excellent service and communication, ensuring any specific requests were met. They are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always happy to help with any issues. The restaurant staff is really nice and the lady at the reception is the nicest person you'll ever meet.
Overall, Buko Beach Resort is highly recommended, especially for its incredible staff who provide personal attention, warmth and great communication. Don't forget to give a shoutout to John, who is really, really sweet. Whether you're looking to relax, explore or both, this resort is a must-visit.
