Breakfast
Guests of St Michaels Resort in Falmouth have reported mostly positive experiences with the food served during breakfast. Reviews highlight the amazing and superb quality of breakfast with tasty and fresh goods on offer. Guests appreciated the great choices for hot options and the great variety of breakfast available. Some guests particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts served in Brasserie on the Bay. A fresh fruit platter was available, but some guests thought that more fruit at breakfast would be good. Despite some reports of a poor fruit selection, most guests found the breakfast to be delicious and enjoyed it greatly. The stunning view from the breakfast area was also mentioned positively. Although some guests reported that breakfast was strict with serving times and that their breakfast was delivered cold, almost all guests found the breakfast to be excellent and a huge bonus, as it was included in their stay. Some guests did have negative experiences with the breakfast with reports of limited selection, disappointing choices and uncooked sausages and warmed-up hash browns. However, overall, guests of St Michaels Resort praised the breakfast as a highlight of their stay.

Dinner
The dinner experience at St Michaels Resort in Falmouth appears to be a highlight for many guests. There are several options for dining, each with its own unique atmosphere. Guests seem to particularly enjoy the amazing food, excellent quality and great flavors at the brasserie, kitchen garden restaurant and in the evening meal. Some mention the beautiful presentation of the food, which is described as a bit arty. While there are a few criticisms of some aspects, such as the cooked breakfast being wanting and the menu at the bay restaurant not grabbing attention, overall, the food is said to be lovely and good value for money. Dinner on the second night was mentioned several times as being particularly good. However, there were some criticisms of the extra supplements on meals, the bad tea selection and the young and unexperienced personnel who work at the hotel. Despite some minor issues, the food at St Michaels Resort appears to be an incredible and amazing experience that should not be missed if you are visiting Falmouth.

Rooms
The rooms at St Michaels Resort, Falmouth have received mixed reviews from guests. Many guests are impressed with the clean, well-decorated and well-equipped rooms with some describing their accommodation as spacious, modern and beautifully clean. However, other guests have reported tired and dated rooms with some showing signs of wear and tear. Some rooms are described as small, stuffy or with poor views and some guests have noted cleanliness issues. There have also been reports of uncomfortable beds and poorly soundproofed rooms. Despite this, some guests have enjoyed upgrades to lovely rooms with stunning views and some have found their rooms to be comfortable and cosy. It's worth noting that some rooms are accessed by narrow staircases and an outbuilding balcony was covered, resulting in some guests being unable to enjoy the view. Overall, the quality of the rooms at St Michaels Resort seems to vary, but there are some lovely sea views to be enjoyed.

Beds
St Michaels Resort in Falmouth offers a variety of beds for their guests, but opinions are divided. Some guests found the beds super comfy and had a great night's sleep, while others found them hard and uncomfortable. The firmness of the beds may appeal to some, but not to everyone. Some guests fought for space, due to the bed being too small for their liking. Additionally, some found that the pillows were uncomfortable. Although quality bedding was provided, some guests felt that the rooms and beds were not made daily to a high standard. Overall, guests experienced varying levels of bed comfort during their stay at St Michaels Resort.

Cleanliness

Despite these isolated incidents, the majority of guests are happy with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel.

Guests raved about the friendly and helpful staff throughout all areas of the hotel, including the breakfast staff who were described as wonderful. Overall, the staff at St. Michaels Resort are passionate about their jobs and committed to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for their guests.

Spa
The St Michaels Resort in Falmouth boasts a superb spa with well-equipped facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, saunas, steam rooms and a hot tub. While some guests expressed disappointment that the Jacuzzi was out of order, others were thrilled with the amazing spa experience and friendly staff. It's worth noting that the spa comes at an additional cost, which some guests were not aware of when booking. However, those who did indulge in a treatment or some time to enjoy the facilities found it to be well worth the extra price. The health club also features a top-notch gym and wellness center with options for swimming and using the jacuzzi included. Though some guests complained about patronizing spa staff or broken amenities, most reviews praise the excellent facilities and ample choice of saunas and steam rooms. Overall, guests recommend the St Michaels Resort for a lovely spa break in a great location, complete with provided robes and flip flops and even complimentary Elemis hand wash.

Pool
St Michaels Resort in Falmouth boasts a lovely pool that is available for all guests to use. However, some reviewers noted that the pool can get exceptionally busy, especially during children and family swim times.

Adults can enjoy a peaceful swim during dedicated adults-only time sessions, although some guests had experienced interruptions as kids swim lessons sometimes take place during these designated times.

The hotel also has a nice gym and pool area, but some reviewers mentioned that the gym and pool can get overloaded during peak hours.

An added bonus for guests is the use of the hydrothermal pool located in a separate building, a large outdoor hot tub and a smaller spa-like area with a sauna and steam room.

Overall, the swimming pool was a highlight for many guests with some describing it as excellent, lovely and at the perfect temperature. However, others felt that the pool was too busy and that children and family swim times monopolised the pool timetable.

If you’re planning a lovely spa break in a great location, St Michaels Resort may be worth considering, especially if you’re looking for well-managed pool facilities. Just keep in mind that the restaurant can be pricey for what it offers and that the pool has designated hours for children.

Beach
St Michaels Resort in Falmouth boasts a fantastic location right by the beach with many of the rooms offering wonderful views overlooking Gylly Beach. Guests love the proximity to the clean and beautiful beach, which is just a short walk away from the hotel. The hotel is also within easy reach of nearby beaches, making it a great base for those wanting to explore the area. Despite some rooms having covered balconies that block the sea view, guests still praise the hotel's fantastic location opposite the beach. The grounds of the hotel are also beautiful with a palm tree-filled garden and an outdoor bar that offers stunning sea views.

Family
St Michaels Resort in Falmouth is a great choice for families looking for a real holiday atmosphere with plenty of dog friendly activities. The hotel offers ample free parking and even left a birthday card for one guest's partner on the bed. However, while the facilities are excellent for families, some reviewers did note some issues. The changing area for girls is small, which can be tricky when with children and there's a potential hazard for small children. Reviewers also noted that the pool can get very busy during children and family swim times, monopolizing the timetable. Some guests would like more access for teenagers to the pool outside of family swim. Despite these issues, the hotel's locker room near the bar is a great place for kids to watch DVDs while parents enjoy a drink. However, some reviewers thought that the family rooms were way too small for a family of four. Finally, one reviewer noted that the hotel's restaurant is expensive for what's offered and the pool has limited hours for children. Overall, if you're looking for a family-friendly atmosphere with lots of activities, St Michaels Resort in Falmouth is a great choice.
