The W Maldives resort offers three high-quality restaurants with exceptional Maldivian cuisine being a standout option. While some guests were initially disappointed by the lack of a buffet and healthy options, those who give the menu a chance enjoyed superb food and accommodating service from the chefs and wait staff. Though prices are on the higher side and not all dishes received rave reviews, there are certainly delicious options to be found for dinner.

Rooms

The W Maldives has received rave reviews from guests about their rooms. The overwater villas were described as amazing and exceptional with fabulous ocean views and good privacy. Though some guests mentioned the pool in the villa was small and made of concrete which caused discomfort. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. However, some guests noted that the bathroom area inside the bedroom lacked curtains which allowed for the morning sun. The Lagoon Villa's were also praised for their beauty and cleanliness. Although, some guests warned that there were stairs in the room which could be dangerous for kids. Most guests were delighted by their stay and the stunning Water villas, but some switched to the beach villas upon arrival. In addition to the excellent staff, guests praised the resort's top-notch services and facilities, which included bungalows, yoga, gym and fitness classes.
