Location

Perched high above the bustling city of Florence lies the stunning retreat of Il Salviatino Firenze. With its fantastic location in a calm area, guests can enjoy breathtaking views over the city and the most magnificent setting imaginable. Access is via a meandering road leading to the entrance, but the effort is worth it for the stunning view. For those wanting to explore the city, the shuttle service into the centre is fantastic and only a stone's throw away from the city centre. In the evening, retreat from the heat of the city and unwind in the beautiful grounds with views towards the garden and Florence. Il Salviatino Firenze truly provides the best of both worlds - a peaceful oasis with wonderful views, yet conveniently located for exploring the fascinating city of Florence.

Il Salviatino Firenze offers an excellent restaurant with a nice patio and beautiful view. The food is described as delicious and exceptional with good quality wines available. However, guests suggest that a more casual menu in the evening would enhance their stay, as some found the evening menu to be a little expensive. While the food receives high praise, there are a few reports of long delays waiting for dinner or breakfast with some guests reporting their meal never showed up. Overall, the hotel offers an excellent dining experience with exceptional food, but guests may need to factor in some possible waiting time.

Il Salviatino Firenze stands out as one of the most impressive and beautiful properties in the city. The rooms are spacious, elegant and offer incredible views of the city. Some guests were even upgraded to larger rooms with stunning views. However, while hardware-wise, the rooms could easily compete with the Four Seasons, some guests felt that their room had almost no place for their belongings with no wardrobe or storage. Despite this, the bedroom and bathroom were excellent and guests praised the lovely setting and privacy of their rooms. Some guests did note that the door to the bathroom did not close properly and that the room in the garden lacked privacy and storage space. Overall, guests loved their rooms and the facilities provided by Il Salviatino Firenze.

Il Salviatino Firenze has a team of real assets. The majority of guests are welcomed warmly by the friendly and informative staff who are extremely attentive and make you feel very special. With faultless service, the staff have been known to bend over backwards to please their guests. Many have highlighted the amazing and friendliest staff along with the gentleness and politeness of the employees. However, a few guests have reported disorganized staff and issues with some of the front desk agents who showed serious attitude problems. Overall, the reception staff are better with Sofia being a standout who was very sweet and helpful.

Despite some minor issues with breakfast organization and room amenities, the hotel is stunningly decorated and the beds are the most comfortable guests have ever slept on. The hotel's location is also exceptional, providing quick access to the city through their shuttle service. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and the restaurant is nothing short of amazing with perfectly clean facilities. For a truly special experience, consider staying in one of the larger rooms with stunning city views, especially if you're on your honeymoon.
