When it comes to location, the W Fort Lauderdale does not disappoint. The hotel offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, which can be admired from the comfort of your room's balcony or while lounging by the pool. Despite ongoing construction, guests can expect a great stay with the help of the kind staff. The hotel's excellent location puts you close to a variety of restaurants, bars and nearby attractions, all within walking distance. The proximity to the beach is a major highlight for many guests with some even describing it as the best location in Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant at the hotel is also a popular spot thanks to its prime location and delicious food. Overall, the W Fort Lauderdale's location is hard to beat with beautiful views and everything you need just a stone's throw away.

Breakfast

If you're looking for a hotel with the perfect combination of great pool, delicious meals and delightful morning options, the W Fort Lauderdale is your dream destination. Even though some guests mentioned the room was not child-friendly and the fold-out beds uncomfortable, the hotel's dine-in room breakfast was a hit with its tastiness and it's served until 11 am. They have professional front desk employees, valet workers, housekeeping, bar staff and beach personnel who are always willing to help. Patrick, the bartender at the hotel, is truly amazing, his customer service being exceptional. Most of the customers have loved the customer service of the staff, especially the manager, Fabio and house cleaner. The hotel staff caters to their guests and the energy and valet service are amazing. The pool staff, though slow, gives good service and Corey from the front desk cares about the guests' stay. The staff was welcoming and nice, they made us feel at home, whereas the bartenders at the pool were rude and some of the staff were disrespectful. Despite a few rude employees, the majority of the staff was accommodating and polite. Despite poor service, the hotel staff was prompt to address customer service issues or concerns by making the manager always available, though some of them were unwilling to help. Overall, the hotel staff is friendly, warm and has excellent customer service. It is a wonderful hotel with a good staff that makes guests, customers and tourists feel at home.

Pool

The W Fort Lauderdale boasts an amazing balcony view for watching both the sunset and sunrise. While the main pool was under construction, guests still had a quality stay with a DJ spinning tunes and an additional pool available. Some guests noted that the pool areas could use some updating and refreshing, while others found it crowded during weekends. Unfortunately, the pool area wasn't always clean and some lounges were worn and stained. On the bright side, the reviews show that many guests did enjoy the pool and beach, including a great Sunday brunch. However, there were some issues with service, such as slow bar staff and inadequate towels at the beach and pool. Overall, it seems that the pool area is a highlight for some guests but could use some improvements in management and cleanliness.
