Quintinha Sao Joao Hotel & Spa has an excellent and beautiful location, situated in the midst of a gorgeous garden. It is very convenient for Funchal centre with the area around the cathedral being just a five to ten minute walk away. However, some guests have mentioned that the location is a bit off centre and may be limited for the Spa. It is also located on a busy road, which can be noisy day and night and may not be the ideal location for people with mobility problems or those who don't enjoy brisk walks. While it is a 10-20 minute walk to the city centre, the hotel offers shuttle buses and is an ideal base for exploring Madeira by car since it's located near the city's exit routes. Overall, the location of the hotel offers great views and a peaceful environment but may not be suitable for everyone.

Breakfast
