The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and well-stocked with amenities such as fridges and microwaves. The balcony is a lovely feature with some overlooking the fast-flowing river. The beds are especially comfortable and come with plenty of pillows. The hotel is insulated very well, so noise isn't an issue. The staff at Greystone Lodge on the River were absolutely amazing, wonderful, courteous and kind. They were always friendly and helpful, accommodating all of the guests' needs. Guests appreciate the convenience of the parking being close to their rooms with some even having underground parking spots next to their rooms. Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, the Greystone Lodge on the River boasts an unbeatable location that guests can't stop raving about. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and attractions on the strip, making it the perfect home base for exploring the town. Guests loved how they could park their car securely in the covered garage and then easily walk everywhere they wanted to go without worrying about driving in heavy tourist traffic. The proximity to the Smoky Mountains National Park was also a huge plus for nature enthusiasts. Not to mention, the stunning view of the river that can be seen from the hotel is postcard-worthy. Overall, the location of the Greystone Lodge on the River is exceptional and provides guests with the ultimate convenience and accessibility to all the fun and excitement Gatlinburg has to offer.

Breakfast

The Greystone Lodge on the River offers a complimentary breakfast spread to its guests every morning until 10 AM. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of options including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juices. Guests appreciated the biscuits and gravy and the delicious orange juice. While some guests wished there were more meat options like bacon or sausages, others enjoyed the warm food selection. The breakfast bar was crowded at times, but it was never impossible to find seating. Most guests found the breakfast to be good with some even saying it was great. However, some found it disappointing as there was no meat at all or the selection was limited and stale. It's recommended to head into town to find something better if needed.
