The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Rethimno and Chania, the two biggest cities on the island. Guests can easily access the beach and other places of interest, such as Kournas lake and Georgioupoli. The area is quiet and away from other hotels and apartments, but still has shops, bars and tavernas within a short walk. The location is central to the whole island and convenient for day trips on a scooter with Argiropouli, Kournas lake and Georgeopolis all nearby. While some guests found the access to the hotel difficult, overall the location is ideal for those looking to explore Crete without the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist areas.
