Wrest Point is a hotel with a beautiful location, situated right on the Derwent River with lovely water views. Although it is a little bit out of town, it is still conveniently located, close to Battery Point, the city center and the CBD. The hotel is also conveniently located for functions on site and shows with the casino just a short interconnected walk away. Most of the rooms are well-appointed and offer great views of the harbor and/or the mountains. The location is ideal for those looking for a quiet and comfortable stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still within easy reach of all the facilities and amenities that Hobart has to offer. Some guests commented that the location might be a little far from the town center, but it is still walkable if you're fit and the views more than compensate for it. There are also options for meals if you wanted them and the bars and restaurants are easily accessible. Overall, the combination of location, cleanliness, facilities, comfort and price make Wrest Point an excellent choice for travelers looking for a beautiful and convenient location close to central Hobart.
