Very Good

Location

The Langham Hong Kong is situated in an excellent location, making it easy to access via MRT or taxi. The hotel is just minutes away from the famous Harbour City and Nathan Road, which offers a plethora of shopping destinations. The location is very central and the concierge named Steven is the best. Families particularly enjoy the proximity to the Ferry and train stations, as well as the many restaurants nearby with exceptional views of the Victoria Harbour. The hotel is also kid-friendly and guests can easily walk to Kowloon park, science museum and Avenue of Stars. The lobby is conveniently located and the staff is accommodating. Overall, The Langham Hong Kong is a perfect location for travelers who want to be close to everything, including shopping, dining and transportation.

Breakfast

The Langham Hong Kong offers an impressive breakfast spread that has plenty of options, including healthy choices and a buffet with lots of choices. Although some guests booked their room with breakfast included, they were informed upon check-in that it was not included in their package. Some guests mentioned that the breakfast wasn't as good or varied, but overall, guests were pleased by the ample choices of food and the quality of the breakfast. There were great choices for those who prefer a Western or Chinese breakfast, but some guests said that it was too Chinese for their taste. The Palm Court breakfast had a great ambiance and the 1881 Heritage afternoon tea was better than the executive club lounge 'afternoon tea'. Overall, guests enjoyed the breakfast experience, but some advised not to be late or come during peak hours as it could get crowded.

If you're planning a family vacation to Hong Kong, The Langham Hong Kong is a great choice. Situated in a central location, it's the perfect spot to explore the city with your little ones. During our stay in a suite with a connecting room, our seven-year-old had plenty of space to play around. Plus, the hotel had VR rooms for the kids to enjoy, which was a huge hit. To make our daughter's birthday extra special, the staff surprised her with a slice of cake and a teddy - such a kind gesture. We also took advantage of the special vaccinated deal for kids. While the Club area was a bit crowded with children, the hotel is great for a staycation - we were able to easily visit the Space Museum, Science Museum and Hong Kong Museum. Just be prepared for a longer check-in process if you're traveling with young children as the hotel may ask for birth certificates. However, the extra effort is worth it for a pleasant stay with the family.

The staff is amazing and the hotel is perfect in every way. It's an excellent value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We highly recommend it for a quiet getaway. While some reviewers expressed disappointment with the low standard of the hotel, our experience was exceptional and exactly what you would expect from a 5-star establishment.
