They appreciated the variety of options available at the restaurant and described the breakfast as great, excellent and good. The service provided by the staff was also praised with particular mention of Molly, who was described as excellent. Nonetheless, some guests complained that the breakfast is not included in the rates and it is expensive to purchase separately. A few guests also noted that the meals at the restaurant ran out, weren't cooked properly or were expensive. Nevertheless, guests recommended having breakfast at the Hearth n Kettle and wished the hotel offered free breakfast to guests. Overall, the breakfast experience at Cape Codder Resort & Spa was enjoyable for many guests.

Rooms
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa offers varying experiences for guests based on their room assignment. Some rooms are spacious, beautiful, clean and comfortable, while others are outdated, dirty and rundown. While some guests found the beds to be comfortable, others complained of uncomfortable beds and bad mattresses. The resort’s different types of family suites may have mold, steel furniture and insufficient lighting. Some rooms lacked basic amenities like shampoo and conditioner. Many guests complained of moldy, musty, damp and mildew smells and carpets were often dirty, old and stained. Some rooms had peeling wallpaper, scratched furniture and missing paint. Despite these negative aspects, some guests enjoyed connecting rooms and suites for larger groups of friends and family.

Beds
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa offers a range of rooms with comfortable beds that guests have raved about in their reviews. From unreal and cloud-like to just all-around comfortable, travelers can expect to get a good night's sleep. Some guests were delighted by the king-sized beds, while others found the mattresses a bit too soft for their liking. Although a few guests did not appreciate the old mattresses and dingy sheets, many still enjoyed the large, clean rooms. Some reviewers noted issues with housekeeping not making their beds, but this may have been an isolated incident. Overall, guests have widely commented that the beds were comfortable, albeit a small minority disliked the pillows or found the beds uncomfortable.

Cleanliness
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa boasts of a modern, clean atmosphere with housekeeping services offered daily. The cleaning staff is very courteous and attentive to guests' needs. The water park is also clean and well-maintained. However, some guests have mentioned a need for some restoration to be done to the water park. Though many rooms were reportedly clean, several guests commented on outdated rooms and dirty carpets, some even mentioning peeling wallpaper and old shower heads. Dust, mold and musty smells were also prevalent in some rooms. The hotel seems to be in need of maintenance and updating, as some facilities look run down and stained. Some guests experienced issues such as ants in their rooms and poor quality beds and pillows. Despite these issues, many guests praised the cleanliness of the hotel and appreciated the helpfulness of the housekeeping staff.

Staff
The staff at Cape Codder Resort & Spa have received mixed reviews from guests, but many have had positive experiences with friendly and helpful employees. Some guests have encountered rude or unhelpful staff, but others have praised the attentiveness of the lifeguards and the knowledge of the receptionists. The hotel appears to have some issues with understaffing and some guests have noted that younger staff members can sometimes lack experience or customer service skills. However, many guests have found the staff to be sweet, courteous and amazing with some singling out specific employees like Molly the server or the reptile guy for praise. Despite some isolated incidents of poor service, overall guests seem to appreciate the location and good customer service at Cape Codder Resort & Spa.

Pool
If you're looking for a family-friendly hotel with plenty of fun activities, then the Cape Codder Resort & Spa might just be the place for you! Their water park was a crowd favorite, perfect for keeping the kids entertained. Although some parts of the park were closed during our stay, we still had a blast. Besides the water park, the indoor and outdoor pools provided more opportunities to splash around. Just remember, the outdoor pool is only open if it's above 45 degrees! While the wave pool and some slides weren't working, the pool area was still accessible and always supervised for safety. The arcade was also a hit with our family. Plus, it's convenient that a restaurant is attached to the hotel. However, be aware that the walls in the rooms are thin. And while we did wish there were more seating options at the water park, towels were available for use. Lastly, an update to the water park wouldn't hurt and it would be nice if it was limited to hotel guests only. But overall, our stay was enjoyable and the staff kept the facilities clean and maintained.

Family
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa offers a wonderful family-friendly experience. Featuring a huge property with a water park, outdoor pool, 24-hour arcade, game room and more, there are plenty of options to choose from for things to do. Many guests brought their grandkids for a great New England getaway with kids having fun in the water park and enjoying the amenities. Families found the resort to be a great one-stop shop for pool time, family time and movie nights. However, some reviews noted that older kids could be rough around younger ones. Overall, the hotel is highly family-oriented and a great destination for a fun family weekend or vacation.

3 Star
Cape Codder Resort & Spa offers a range of facilities and services, but some guests were disappointed with their stay. While the hotel has a lovely water park, some guests found the overall facility seemed rundown and the rooms outdated. A few guests also mentioned that they were given the wrong room, which required lots of walking. Additionally, some guests found the pillows flat and the food and drinks expensive, making their stay not worth the money. The hotel's service was deemed passable by some guests, but others claim it was overpriced and gross. While overall, some guests were disappointed with their stay and would not return, there were still positive aspects of the resort worth highlighting, such as the water park.

Pool Water Slide
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa boasts a thrilling water park experience for families with children. Kids will undoubtedly have a blast going down the slides, though the height requirement of 48 inches might seem excessive for some. There were some mentions of staff being flexible about the rule, but it seems to be mostly enforced. Despite some of the slides and parts of the water park being closed, guests found the experience amazing and a lot of fun. Floaties weren't provided, so don't forget to bring your own. The arcade was another attraction that drew the kids' attention. Keep in mind that there wasn't enough seating available, so you might have to be quick to secure a spot. Lastly, there were some mildew instances on the slides, but it didn't deter guests from enjoying the water park overall.

Outdoor Pool
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa boasts an outdoor pool that is a crowd favorite, despite being a little cold. Guests were pleased to discover that the pool was open all year round, although disappointed that it wasn't available unless the temperature exceeded 45 degrees. The saltwater outdoor pool was a highlight for many and although some commented that the area needed weeding, others declared it to be awesome. The water park and outdoor pool were a great bonus to guests' stays, although a few pools could use repair work on the tile. Sadly, there were no towels available at either pool or water park. Nonetheless, the outdoor pool was a hit with guests who stayed at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa.

Water Park
The Cape Codder Resort & Spa has a great water park that is perfect for kids. Although there were some issues with the park not working on certain days or some of the slides being closed or dirty, the overall experience was positive with great slides, a lazy river and a huge hot tub. Some guests felt that there could have been more tubes for the lazy river or floaties for kids, but others found the water park to be a hit with their children. In addition to the water park, the hotel also has spa facilities including a jacuzzi and sauna. There were mixed reviews on the staff at the water park with some finding them rude or inconsistent with height requirements, but others had a great experience with the friendly staff. It's worth noting that some guests had issues with their rooms, either with noise from thin walls or lack of a water park view after paying for it. However, overall the water park seems to be a great attraction for families staying at the hotel, especially for younger children.
