Although it's not situated in the downtown area, Ironworks Hotel Indy boasts of its own niche with plenty of nearby options for food and entertainment. Some of the surrounding restaurants have been described as fabulous with cool vibes. The location is considered the perfect spot to stay when visiting the city with several guests citing it as their favorite spot in central Indy. Other guests have praised the hotel's location as the perfect distance from everything they planned on doing and it is minutes away from a major shopping area. For those headed from the south and going north, the location is very convenient with easy access to the expressway. Overall, Ironworks Hotel Indy's location has been described as great, nice, interesting, excellent, perfect and easily the best spot to stay in central Indy.

The blackout shades make the room dark and perfect for sleeping in. The staff is great and the hotel is well-maintained.
