There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and the staff is efficient and helpful. Though there aren't many beaches nearby, taxis are readily available and the hotel offers quad rentals. Just be aware that driving to the hotel can be a bit of a challenge if you're not familiar with the small, winding streets of Pothia. Overall, Villa Melina is a beautiful house in a peaceful location with excellent views of the town and harbor, making it the ideal spot for a Kalymnos adventure.
