Margado hotel has a great location for those who want to be close to the town and port. It offers amazing views of the surrounding bay and mountains. The hotel is located in a quiet place a short walk to the harbor where you can find a series of restaurants, shops and local transportation. It is superbly convenient for the ferry, Kamares Beach and the restaurants of the village. Despite the location being at the top of a hill, the walk from the port is only 5 minutes downhill. The uphill location affords it gorgeous views, but is difficult by foot, so a car is recommended. However, the location is perfect with the best view of mountains and harbor. The hotel would not be suitable for young children or anyone who doesn't want to exercise their calf muscles walking up the hill. The accommodation is on a steep hill, but was worth it! The place is ideal for those looking for a relaxing stay in a quiet location away from the port's hustle and bustle, but still close enough to access everything with ease.
