The hotel has a wide range of activities for children, including a waterpark that our guests raved about. The staff is friendly and the restaurants are great, although there were some comments that cutlery and dishes for kids were missing. The location is incredible and if you're there for the New Year celebrations, the kids will love the craft stations and fireworks. If you have young children, you'll appreciate the fact that kids under 6 eat for free. We will note that some guests did complain about the noise during their stay and some suggested accommodations should be separated for families with children and pets. However, if you're travelling as a family or a couple, there is something for everyone--from the skating pond to the s'more station to the lounge area that welcomes children. So, whether you're travelling with kids, pets or as a couple, Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is the perfect hotel for a getaway.
