Location
The Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa boasts a great location, conveniently situated near a highway and not far from stores. Guests also enjoyed the peaceful surroundings with the hotel tucked away in a quiet spot and offering fantastic views of the river and city from some rooms. The park down by the river was a highlight too with a lovely walking trail to explore. While some guests found the drive winding and confusing to navigate, they were ultimately happy they booked for the location. However, visitors looking for a variety of food options may want to venture beyond the area around the casino, as some found meal choices limited. Additionally, a few noted that the hotel could be noisy at times with sounds from the hallways or parking lot interrupting their stay. Despite these minor hiccups, guests appreciated the Argosy's prime location and the friendly staff on hand to make their stay enjoyable.

Breakfast
The breakfast situation at the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. While some guests reported disappointment at the lack of breakfast options or not realizing breakfast was included, others were pleased to find a free breakfast available. Unfortunately, there isn't a designated restaurant on property for breakfast, but overall guests seemed satisfied with their experiences. Some noted that they felt the food choices could have been improved, but that didn't detract from their overall enjoyment of their stay.

Dinner
The Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa has a few on-site restaurants, but unfortunately some were closed during our stay. However, we did have some great dining experiences. The Journey Steakhouse was absolutely divine and the hops house and deli also had some amazing food. We did struggle with getting reservations at times and some guests reported long waiting times for their food. The prices of the food were admittedly expensive, but overall we enjoyed our meals at the hotel. One guest did have a disappointing experience with a barely warm and incorrect steak dinner, as well as bugs in their water and wine, but we're hoping that was just a one-off occurrence. We should point out that the hotel is somewhat isolated, so if you're looking to venture out for dinner, be sure to make reservations early as there's nothing close by. All in all, our dining experiences were mostly positive and we'd recommend checking out the Journey Steakhouse if you're looking for some divine cuisine.

Rooms
The Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa offers large and quiet smoke-free rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, clean and spacious bathrooms with big showers and luxurious toiletries. The beds were comfortable, although some guests found the pillows to be too full. Staff were described as super nice and helpful with the property being well maintained. However, there were a few negative experiences such as mold in the shower, broken lights and uncomfortable beds with hard and lumpy pillows. Some guests were disappointed with the lack of microwaves in the rooms and not enough supplies for two people. Despite these minor issues, guests generally enjoyed their stay at the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa.

Beds
If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay, the beds at the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa won't disappoint. Reviewers have consistently praised the comfy beds with some even describing them as "literally almost everything" they could ask for in a hotel. While some had minor complaints about pillow fullness or getting the wrong bed size, overall the beds were a highlight of many guests' stays. Don't worry about any unpleasant smells, as some reviewers did mention issues with the bedding and pillows, but these were rare occurrences. All in all, the beds were very comfy and a great place to rest your head after a long day of casino gaming or spa indulgence.

Cleanliness
When considering a stay at the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa, guests can expect varying experiences with cleanliness, however, the majority of reviews indicate a clean and well-maintained property. Some guests found their rooms to be clean and comfortable with excellent showers, while others mentioned dirty bathrooms and unmade beds. The casino itself did receive some criticism for poor air cleanliness, but several guests noted a pleasant smell added to the air system. While there were reports of cockroaches, bed bugs and mold in some rooms, those incidents seemed to be outliers. Overall, the casino and hotel were well decorated and many guests praised the staff and spacious rooms. Visitors should also note that some public areas, such as the hallway/elevator and public bathroom, could use improvement in terms of cleaning.

Staff
The staff at Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa are known for their friendliness and helpfulness with many guests commenting on the wonderful customer service they received. They also found the hotel easy to find and appreciated the cleanliness of the property. While a few mentioned unpleasant experiences with certain staff members, the majority found them to be hospitable and great. Some guests wished they could have ordered food from the restaurant and picked it up, but were unable to reach anyone on the phone. Overall, guests seemed to have positive interactions with the staff and enjoyed their stay at the hotel.

Casino
The Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa in Kansas City boasts an all-in-one experience with a casino and hotel under one roof. While some guests mention the smoke in the casino and the outdated games, others found the casino to be a lot of fun with an enjoyable game of Craps. Plus, one lucky guest's wife even came out ahead! The decor in the casino is fancy and the casino, along with the hotel, is clean and well-decorated. Guests also enjoyed the good food, but wished for more nearby dining options. The casino bar's small drinks left some guests wanting more, but overall the casino was a pretty cool experience. While there were negative reviews about the access to the casino and the overwhelming smell of smoke in the building, guests generally had a great time with their group of friends during their stay at the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa.
