Situated in the Government offices area, it's slightly further from the regular tourist attractions but close to Kathmandu Square and just a short ride to Thamel. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and provides airport pickup and dropoff. While it may not be within walking distance to the shopping area Thamal, it's easy to hail a taxi and access tour hotspots. The street is quiet and peaceful, making it easy to sleep without distraction and many guests appreciate the well-organized transportation services. While the location may not be the most ideal for everyone, the helpful staff can assist you in finding taxis and answering any questions about the surrounding area. Overall, Basera Boutique Hotel is located in a good location equal distance from all the main sights in Kathmandu.
