Very Good
Location
Nestled in the heart of Katoomba, the Mountain Heritage Hotel is the perfect location for your Blue Mountains adventure. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of shops, cafes and the train station. While the walk can be hilly, we recommend taking a cab if arriving by train. But once you arrive, you'll find the hotel's position to be perfect for exploring the nearby attractions. A quick 5-minute drive takes you to Leura or the iconic Three Sisters and Echo Point. The hotel also offers stunning views of the Blue Mountains from public rooms, including a lounge and restaurant. Many guests raved about their rooms' views with some providing a 270º panorama. Guests found the location to be excellent with convenient access to the town center and walks. Staff members were also friendly and helpful, providing excellent service to guests. We recommend Mountain Heritage Hotel for those wanting a convenient and beautiful location for their Blue Mountains getaway.

Breakfast
Guests have raved about the breakfast at Mountain Heritage Hotel with many describing it as exquisite, excellent, fantastic and divine. The silver service breakfast comes with a view that matches and the waitstaff is of the highest quality. Some guests loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and the option to select a few dishes. However, there were a few negative aspects, such as an expensive price of $45-49 per person for the breakfast and outdated menu. Also, some felt that there was a limited choice and no buffet provision and it wasn't value for money. Nonetheless, some guests loved the complimentary bottled water, having a coffee and tea maker in the room and the piano player in the afternoon. Overall, it seems that guests are generally satisfied with the breakfast, but there is room for improvement, particularly with the catering for gluten-free food and the variety of choices.

Dinner
If you're looking for a special dining experience during your stay at the Mountain Heritage Hotel, be sure to book a visit to the Jamison Views restaurant. With live piano music every night, it's the perfect spot for a romantic meal with spectacular mountain and valley views. The food is exquisite and gourmet with fresh and delicious ingredients and the staff are excellent and attentive. Although some guests felt that the set menu was a bit overpriced, those who did book and visit the restaurant highly recommended it. If you're after a more casual dining experience or are visiting on a Sunday or Monday, be aware that the main restaurant is closed and the kitchen may not be open every night. However, for those looking for a special and memorable dinner, the Jamison Views restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
