The cozy and beautifully decorated rooms are comfortable and very clean and the modern bathrooms are particularly notable for being very pleasant and spotless. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, making guests feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning of their stay. The pool and garden area is beautiful and relaxing, perfect for enjoying breakfast or a tropical sunset. Guests have raved about how the Mermaid & the Alligator made them feel like they were in paradise and it's the perfect choice for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The Mermaid & The Alligator boasts an amazing location in the heart of Key West's Old Town with everything you could want within walking distance. The tropical outdoor setting is breathtaking with a lovely garden escape that provides peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the island. The grounds, ambience and friendly staff make for a beautiful and welcoming environment. Though you can't see the ocean, the location is perfect for easy access to all Old Town locations and plenty of nightlife. The inn is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and whatever entertainment you're looking for while in Key West. Overall, it's an excellent locale surrounded by beautiful landscapes that will make your stay all the more special.

Breakfast

Guests praised the breakfast at The Mermaid & The Alligator, describing it as delicious, excellent and great. The food was of a good quality and well-prepared with plenty of options to choose from.
