Guests rave about the friendly and helpful staff, who are always ready to assist with any questions you may have. Additionally, the hotel boasts two restaurants for breakfast, one Japanese and one Western style, ensuring that everyone's tastes are catered to. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with some offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains or famous temples. The only downside mentioned in the reviews is that it's not very close to the Kyoto train station, but with a convenient shuttle bus available, this is easily mitigated. However, some guests thought the breakfast was expensive and considered it more like a big cantine. Coffee was bitter at breakfast and some guests found limited options or that the breakfast buffet had fewer options for the price tag. Nonetheless, the majority of guests enjoyed the great breakfast and the variety of Japanese and East Asian dishes, which were delicious and well-presented.
