The Margate Resort sits in a beautiful, picturesque location right on the lake. It's perfect for those seeking a beachfront getaway with easy access to the water and stunning lakefront views. Guests love how close the hotel is to restaurants, supermarkets and concert venues, making it a great spot for both relaxation and entertainment. The beach is just steps away and there are plenty of things to do in the area with or without kids. The only downside is that some rooms are located further away from the water or across a busy road, but overall guests agree that the location of The Margate Resort is definitely a highlight.

Breakfast

The Margate Resort is a lovely place to stay, especially for families with young kids. With lots of stuff to do, my granddaughters had an amusing time and we celebrated my grandson's birthday here. The location worked great for my reason for being here and it was a wonderful family mini getaway. Although some would have preferred to stay in the main building, the annex building was a perfect getaway for family and pet friends. The Lakeview hotel was also a hit with its beautiful view of the lake and convenient beach area. Overall, The Margate Resort is highly recommended for families looking for a fun and memorable vacation.

Outdoor Pool

The Margate Resort boasts of amazing indoor and outdoor pools, perfect for a relaxing swim after a long day. Guests are also treated to a nice beachfront and a fun outdoor beach bar with a gazebo where they can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the lake which is only steps away. It's worth mentioning that some guests expressed a desire for indoor or outdoor fire pits to be available, nonetheless, the outdoor pool and hot tub were widely acclaimed. Although some guests had the misfortune of not being able to use the outdoor pool due to maintenance issues, they still had access to the clean and beautiful beach.
