Though some guests note that we're a bit further out from town than expected, the drive is beautiful and the location makes up for any negatives. Our resort is perfect for nature lovers who appreciate a remote setting, conveniently located just outside of town. Guests can enjoy snow shoeing or alpine skiing and in the summer months, explore our organic gardens or take a walk along the Icicle River. Our location, just a 5-minute drive to town, is perfect for those who seek convenience and great food, while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort & Spa is a perfect winter family getaway, surrounded by nature and family-friendly. The family of four room size is great and there are really neat rooms for the kiddos, like the loft family cabin with lots of coat hooks and warmers for snowy wet clothes. Kids will love the loft and there are plenty of things to do on the resort territory, including the fun play barn. The resort is perfect for any occasion, especially family getaways. However, note that there is no playground and some guests complain about the thin walls and noisy surroundings. Additionally, the dinner options for children need more variety and should include a vegetable side and there are no tables to eat meals in the family room. Despite these minor issues, Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort & Spa is a family favorite close to home!
