Location

If you're looking for a lively location with amazing views, Lindos Village Resort & Spa - Adults Only is the perfect spot for your next holiday. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach with an amazing view of the bay. Although the beach is a long walk downhill, it's only a short walk away from the hotel. Be prepared for the terrain though, as the area is quite hilly. However, the sea view is definitely worth it. If you're looking to explore more of the area, the nearby city of Lindos offers some fantastic excursions. A shuttle bus from the hotel to Lindos would be a great bonus. Just keep in mind that the beach is about 10 minutes downhill walk away. Overall, the location of the hotel is top-notch with beautiful surroundings and easy access to nearby attractions.

Breakfast

Guests at Lindos Village Resort & Spa - Adults Only rave about the breakfast offered at the hotel. They appreciate the variety of food included in the all-inclusive package with fruits and a lovely buffet. The breakfast received high praise for being good and having a wide variety of options. Guests were also pleased to find a different cuisine offered every night. The omelets were particularly delicious. One guest, who is vegetarian and follows a gluten-free diet, was especially impressed with the choice available. Reviews in different languages also commended the buffet as being simple, good and varied with options to cater for different dietary requirements. If you're looking for a hotel that caters to adults only, Lindos Village Resort & Spa is a solid choice. The food at the hotel was a bit hit and miss with some guests praising the great variety and different cuisines offered every night. While others complained about long wait times, cold food and even sending plates back at the specialist restaurant. Sadly, many also noted that the cleanliness of the dinner tables and the peeling covers of the dining room chairs were not up to par. On a positive note, the a la carte restaurants were a favorite among guests, offering delicious food and a welcome change of pace. However, reservations were required in advance limiting the number of visits per week. The lack of a dress code led to many guests showing up in beach attire, giving the dining experience at times a casual feel that wasn't necessarily desirable. Finally, some guests felt let down as the entire experience didn't quite match up with the 5-star rating of the hotel and suggested organising first and second seating to improve the dining experience for all.

Rooms

The Lindos Village Resort & Spa - Adults Only is a beautiful property, but it is in need of renovation in many parts. Some guests noticed that their room was still not made up, but when it was, it was very clean. However, some had issues with certain amenities, such as a coffee machine that did not work or an electricity outlet that did not work next to the bed. The tired and in need of redecoration rooms had cheap bedroom furniture and a bathroom that was terribly laid out. Despite some of these setbacks, guests enjoyed their deluxe double sea view rooms, though some found them a little smaller than expected with the saving grace of a huge balcony. However, guests did mention that upon arrival, it was difficult to navigate with no indication or explanation. Some guests unfortunately had to deal with water interruptions during their stay. Additionally, some noticed lose wegplatten and verbogene Wasserablauf-Abdeckungen, which are German for loose tiles and bent water drains, respectively. And it wasn't until they complained that guests were informed about the room category they were given. On a more positive note, guests did rave about the very comfy bed and very nice room with sea view and the German speaking guests mentioned that the Zimmer or rooms were sauber, meaning clean. But unfortunately, some guests also reported that the beach towels and bed linen were never changed during their one week stay and the room was not cleaned properly.

Staff

Guests particularly praised the canteen staff and the managers for their exceptional service. Some guests noted that the staff lacked care or were rude, particularly the bar staff around the pool. Others mentioned that the reception staff were unwelcoming and that 90% of the waiters spoke poor English. However, despite some suboptimal experiences, many guests found the staff to be friendly and accommodating with one guest even noting that the staff, particularly Christina from the reception, were brilliant. The hotel's young and friendly personnel were praised for showing guests around and being on hand for their daily or evening needs. While some guests noted that the staff were undertrained and understaffed, overall the majority of guests had no complaints about the service at this adults-only resort.

Pool

At Lindos Village Resort & Spa - Adults Only, the pools are a highlight for many guests. With one main pool and bar area and steps leading down to a clean and beautiful beach, the swimming facilities are very good. Guests can enjoy lunch by the pool and staff are always ready to cater to their needs with drinks and snacks. The beach bar is especially awesome. However, some guests report that there aren't enough sun beds and that they have to endure a climb of eighty steps to reach the pool. Unfortunately, the pool area itself can be messy and some guests have complained about dirty or broken loungers and tables. Despite these issues, Lindos Village Resort & Spa - Adults Only has beautiful pools and excellent pool bar staff who will make every effort to ensure guests have a great time.

Beach

If you're hoping to spend your days lounging on a sandy beach just steps away from the Lindos Village Resort & Spa Adults Only, you may be disappointed. While the hotel is only a short walk away from the beach, it is quite a hilly journey downhill. For those who may have trouble with the walk, the hotel offers golf carts to assist with the journey. However, be aware that the beach itself consists of rocks and black sand, which some may find unappealing.
