When it comes to location, the Sonesta St. George Hotel - Convention Center in Luxor doesn't disappoint. Located right on the Nile, guests can enjoy stunning views of the river and even catch a breathtaking sunset from their front nile view rooms or the hotel garden. While it may be a little bit of a walk to the city center, it's within walking distance from the Luxor temple and center and there are also many attractions that are just a short taxi ride away. The area next to the Nile is dreamlike with nice side streets to wander and the hotel is located on the main road to Luxor and Karnak temples. The location itself is also deemed excellent, great, perfect and very well located along the Nile. The negative reviews regarding the location were related to the noise generated by the street so be careful to ask for a quieter room. All in all, for those looking for a good location in Luxor, the Sonesta St. George Hotel - Convention Center is certainly worth considering when booking your Luxor travel requirements.
