Breakfast
Solana Hotel & Spa offers a good breakfast with lots of variety, although some items could be hotter. Guests praise the good selection of food and the delicious options, including gluten and lactose-free choices. The staff and food are described as amazing and the dinner buffet is also enjoyed. However, some guests found the breakfast basic or tasteless and others commented on crowding and items running out if arriving late. Additionally, some guests had negative experiences with the quality of certain breakfast items, such as mouldy bread and unappealing sausages. Despite these issues, most guests agree that the breakfast is wide-ranging and tasty, perfect for starting a day of sightseeing or relaxation.

Dinner
The dinner at Solana Hotel & Spa received mixed reviews from guests with some experiencing a disappointing first dinner, while others praised the amazing restaurant for dinner downstairs. However, there were consistent positive remarks about the excellent food, good variety of dishes for both dinners and breakfasts and nice vegetarian and vegan options. Although some guests found the buffet too expensive, others found the prices reasonable. Overall, guests enjoyed their dining experience at Solana Hotel & Spa and found it to be a great complement to their relaxing stay.

Some rooms even have a kitchenette and balcony with beautiful views. Guests love the indoor and rooftop pools, both of which are stunning and perfect for family swims. While some rooms may be a bit outdated, they are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including TV with Netflix and kitchen appliances. The hotel also offers a gym for those who enjoy working out. Though some guests have reported noise and other issues with their rooms, the overall consensus is that the rooms at Solana Hotel & Spa are satisfactory for the price and offer good value for money.

Beds
The Solana Hotel & Spa is a great choice for those who prioritize comfortable sleeping arrangements during their travels. Guests have consistently praised the hotel's well-kept and welcoming beds, which seem to be a favorite feature of many. Clean linen and quiet surroundings enhance the sleep experience while the king size beds are especially popular. However, some guests have complained about hard mattresses and insufficient blanket availability. Overall, it can be concluded that the beds at Solana Hotel & Spa provide a pleasant and relaxing sleeping environment for most guests.

Cleanliness
If you're looking for a clean and modern hotel with friendly staff, Solana Hotel & Spa may just be the right fit for you. Guests frequently mention the cleanliness of the rooms with many stating that their towels and bedsheets were consistently fresh. Some guests even described the hotel as spotless and super clean. However, a few guests did note some housekeeping issues, such as dusty floors and mold in the bathroom. Despite these minor issues, most guests felt that the hotel was well-maintained and worth the money.

Staff
The Solana Hotel & Spa offers exceptional service thanks to their amazing staff. Guests consistently praised the friendly, welcoming and attentive staff who were always ready to help with any requests or questions. The reception staff, especially Darko, stood out for being exceptionally helpful and professional. Guests were impressed by the staff's willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Even the housekeeping staff were praised for their quick and efficient response to any issues. The hotel's location, facilities and food were also highly rated by guests. Overall, the Solana Hotel & Spa is a great choice for travelers seeking a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Spa
The Solana Hotel & Spa offers excellent spa facilities that guests rave about in their reviews. Guests highly recommend the spa massages and couples packages and many mention booking a massage and loving it. The spa center is described as nice and wonderful and the indoor heated pool is great. The sauna is good, but some find it too small and can only occupy a maximum of three people at a time. Slippers and bathrobes are paid separately, which some guests find inconvenient. However, the spa and massage are not expensive and guests appreciate the value they get. The spa was also a nice touch to the hotel's already great amenities, which include food and swimming pool facilities. The location and staff also add to the hotel's appeal. While some guests mention the spa being overrun by noisy kids, the overall impression of the spa is positive, making it a great winter break destination.

Gym
For guests looking to stay in shape during their stay at the Solana Hotel & Spa, the fitness options seem to have mixed reviews. The gym is said to have old equipment that is not serviced often and the ventilation is poor. Additionally, the flooring can be slippery which is concerning for those doing intense workouts. However, on a positive note, the hotel does offer a fitness studio with the minimum equipment needed and a small sauna which is a great place to relax after a workout. In conclusion, while the gym may not be perfect, guests can still find ways to maintain their fitness routines with the options provided by the hotel.

Pool
Solana Hotel & Spa boasts multiple pools which have received mixed reviews from guests. The rooftop pools are a highlight with a beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere - perfect for chilling out during the summer season. However, guests mentioned that the rooftop pool is not heated, so it may not be the best choice in colder months. The indoor pool is beautiful with ceiling lights and waterfalls, though some mentioned that the water can be quite cold. Additionally, the indoor pool area was not always kept clean and the chlorine smell was sometimes overpowering. The small size of the indoor pool led to overcrowding and noise with young people jumping and splashing. The outdoor pool was also small and full of splashing children. Despite some negative feedback, guests still enjoyed the wonderful spa and pool facilities with the heated pool being a highlight during the colder season. Overall, the stunning hotel and its beautiful pools are worth a visit, especially for those seeking a relaxing getaway.

Parking
Guests of Solana Hotel & Spa have recommended using the hotel's private parking facility, despite some finding the accessibility for on-site parking facilities tricky to find if new to Malta. Although there is a charge of 8 euros per day, guests find the location of the parking convenient as it is situated next to the halls. The parking can be accessed easily, but it is advised that you go through the parking to get there. Although the parking is limited, guests appreciate the ease of accessibility. However, some guests were disappointed with the cost of the parking, as there are nearby places available for free. Others complained of a lack of free parking provided by the hotel or that the parking was full. It should be noted that parking is very small and unfortunately, guests are required to give their car keys to the security, breaching privacy. Overall, guests found the parking options to be accessible and convenient, but some were put off by the price and lack of availability.

Overall, the hotel's swimming pools provided a nice and refreshing escape for guests.

Indoor Pool
