Overall, the cost-benefit ratio is exceptional, making Hotel Block Suites a highly recommended choice for travelers seeking comfort and practicality in a central and well-connected area of Mexico City.
Breakfast
Hotel Block Suites provides a breakfast service that receives mixed feedback from guests, but has noteworthy positive aspects. Many guests appreciate the friendly and attentive breakfast staff who often receive high praise for their kindness and personalized service. The breakfast, served on the seventh floor, is often highlighted for being delicious, generous and featuring regional Mexican dishes. Options like pancakes, fruit, eggs and coffee are commonly mentioned, although some guests note a lack of variety and repetitive offerings over consecutive days. The coffee is particularly lauded for its quality.
However, there are several critiques suggesting that the breakfast could benefit from being more varied and perhaps presented buffet-style for quicker service. Some guests felt that the breakfast was too basic and didn't meet their expectations in terms of quality and variety. Complaints about the breakfast being slow and not always prepared on time were also prevalent. Despite these issues, there were consistent mentions of satisfying and well-prepared meals by the dedicated staff.
The breakfast area itself is described as bright and spacious, adding to a pleasant dining experience. While some guests found the breakfast offerings to be more than adequate, others felt it fell short of the hotel's overall quality, suggesting room for improvement in terms of variety and taste. In summary, while the breakfast at Hotel Block Suites certainly has room for refinement, it stands out for its friendly service, good coffee and satisfying regional dishes.
