Information provided by the hotelBig BLUE is located just 50m from the beach. It has 5 rooms of all categories. In 2019, a general renovation of the building took place. While in 2018 there was a general renovation in all bathrooms. All rooms have free access to WIFI, A / C and balconies overlooking the sea with wooden shading pergolas, umbrellas, seats and a table. The 3 rooms on the 4th floor have an entrance from an open space. Big BLUE meets the specifications of the ecological certificate GREEN KEY.

Big blue is located at the western end of the beautiful Cretan village of Myrto, above the beach. Next to the building are the monuments of a Roman villa and the bath, which are visible but have not yet been excavated. Nearby are restaurants and taverns, the village bakery, supermarkets, butcher, delicatessen shop and some nice traditional cafes. At a distance of 1 km the Minoan settlement Pyrgos, at 3 km the Minoan settlement Fournou Kopi, at 2 km the arched stone bridge of the cold river built in 1884, at 5 km the famous gorge of Sarakina and at 20 km the largest pine forest of Crete in Selakano. Ierapetra, the fourth largest city in Crete is at 14 km, with a rich market and a large bazaar every Saturday. The boats leave Ierapetra every day for the paradise island of Chrysi.
