Historic Hotel

The original structure is said to have been built some time during the 17th century and after the end of the Ottoman era in 1821, the local owner, Ibrahim Bey, ceded the property to the Ritsos and Kapetsini families. Lina Kapetsini lived in the mansion until the late 1970s and after her death the property fell into disrepair. In 2006, the mansion was restored and became a boutique hotel in 2010. The Ottoman features of the building, such as the large chimney and fireplaces, are still evident today, fused with Byzantine and Venetian elements.

The Kinsterna Hotel boasts a beautiful and natural location, surrounded by olive trees, flowers and spectacular views. The hotel is situated 10 minutes away from Monemvasia, providing the perfect spot for a relaxed atmosphere combined with the beauty of nature. The hotel's premises are stunning with an excellent integration into the landscape. Although a bit secluded, the location is second to none, offering a peaceful and ideal setting for a private getaway. Guests can enjoy the beautiful countryside close to the sea and the hotel's private beach. The hotel area around looks astonishing and the garden is exceptional, making the view from the pool a paradise. The only downside is that it is a bit far from Athens and it's nearly impossible to eat outside because too many wasps.
