Superior Double Room with River View These upper deck guestrooms feature 2-person soaking tubs with a hand-spray nozzle. They are ideally placed next to panoramic windows for front-seat views of wildlife, sand dunes and the slough. Soaking tubs are surrounded by Italian tile in soft colors, graced by a hand painted mural. Each room has unique antique pieces and coastal decor. All rooms include linen, gas fireplaces, flat-screen TVs and plush robes. Please note: Select rooms of this type offer a spa bath. Please note: A maximum of 2 guests are permitted in this room.

Queen Room Offering free WiFi and located in the property's historic house, each of these rooms are decorated in period-piece antiques with a nautical touch. Three of the rooms are located on the upper level and the fourth room is on the lower level and is wheelchair accessible. They each feature a crystal chandelier, wallpaper borders, vaulted ceilings and a private bath. The old-growth redwood trim in every room has been restored to its natural splendor. Two of the guestrooms have fireplaces and 2 have claw-foot tubs. All but the ADA compliant room have old-time water closets with a chain. All rooms include linen, an iPhone/iPad docking station, a flat-screen TV and plush robes and slippers. Please note: A maximum of 2 guests are permitted in this room.

Deluxe Double Room with Shower This newly decorated guestroom is located on the lower deck of our Boathouse building along the edge of the Elkhorn Slough. Step up onto your king-size bed mounted on a boat trailer (the tail lights work!) and enjoy waterfront views of wildlife, marshes, and sand dunes through wide panoramic windows. This room features a gas fireplace and a romantic shower for two with a window to keep your eye on the wildlife outside.

Deluxe Double Room with Shower This guestroom is located on the lower deck of our Boathouse building along the edge of the Elkhorn Slough wetlands. Wide panoramic windows invite guests to enjoy striking waterfront views populated with vast wildlife variety, marshes, and sand dunes. This room features High mounted Queen Bedroom, a gas fireplace, and a romantic shower for two, with a window to keep your eye on the wildlife outside.

Step up into this custom king-size bed on top of a racing sailboat and gaze out of the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. Relax in the Italian-tiled two-person soaking tub and have a front-row seat to a variety of wildlife, marshlands, and sand dunes. Or turn on the fireplace to heat up your romantic side and watch amazing sunsets from the comfort of your room.

Superior Queen Room This guestroom is located on the upper deck of the Boathouse Building facing the Elkhorn Slough wetlands. Spacious with vaulted ceilings and wide floor-to-ceiling windows, High Seas invites guests to enjoy panoramic waterfront views of vast wildlife, marshlands, and sand dunes. The queen-size bed is mounted on an antique wood-finishing boat with a wheelhouse just above, giving guests a sensation of being on a romantic ocean boat ride. To add to your special getaway, you will find an Italian tiled, two-person soaking tub with a hand spray, and a front-row seat to amazing sunsets.

Double Room with Garden View This guestroom is located on the 2nd floor of our historic Pacific Coast Steamship Company building. This room offers a direct view of Fremont’s Peak, the garden, and a glimpse of Elkhorn Slough’s wetlands. This bright room offers a queen bed surrounded by walnut antiques, a crystal chandelier, and a decorative original-style fireplace. The bath includes a large claw-foot tub with shower, oak floors, and accented with restored old-growth redwood trim.

Double Room with Garden View This guestroom is located on the 2nd floor of our historic Pacific Coast Steamship Company building. Enjoy the Elkhorn Slough and a direct view of the sunset from the comfort of your room. Harbor Master features a Cozy queen-size bed furnished with a high-back American oak bed frame and a private bathroom with a stall shower. The room is decorated with a crystal chandelier, oak floors, restored old-growth redwood trim, and calming sea-green tones.

Queen Room - Disability Access This first-floor guestroom has a queen bed decorated with a brass bed frame, surrounded by a large Queen Anne cottage-style window, vaulted ceilings, and an original-style brick fireplace. Decorated with Scottish oak antiques, restored old-growth redwood trim, and a crystal chandelier. It is situated just next to our living room in our historic Pacific Coast Steamship Company building for easy access. Guests have a garden view with Fremont’s Peak in the distance. This room is wheelchair accessible and compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). It has a private bath with a stall shower.

Apartment with Balcony This guestroom is located on the 2nd floor. Spacious with vaulted ceilings and huge living room windows invites guests to enjoy panoramic waterfront views of vast wildlife, marshlands, and sand dunes. To add to your enjoyment, step into the balcony and get the front row seat to amazing sunsets. The unit features a full kitchen with utensils, pots, and a pan. The unit consists of a Master King Room, A Room with a Bunk bed with Full & Twin Size, A Room with a Day bed with Trundle. The Master King has a walk-In shower and the other bathroom has a soaking tub.

One-Bedroom Apartment This 1 Bed Room Suite "HideAway" is a spacious, Non-Smoking room that can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. This room type is provided for comfort for both leisure and business travelers while visiting Monterey. A kitchenette is provided in this family-sized room and provides all amenities for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The amenities include pots and pans, silverware, a coffee/tea maker, a microwave, and a full-sized refrigerator.
