Location

Watercolours, located on the edge of the sea overlooking the Great Sound and Hamilton, is a beautifully maintained property in a prime location of Bermuda. The convenience of the Belmont ferry stop, which is just a two-minute walk away, makes it easy to travel around the island. The location is great for catching the ferry to Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda and its amenities. The views from the jetty across the bay are stunning and it is the exact spot for visiting both ends of the island. Guests appreciated being away from crowds and noise while still having easy access to bus and ferry stops. Watercolours is set in the most beautiful location, surrounded by water on both sides with a beautiful view outside every room. The hosts are superb and the rooms are large and peaceful. The location is phenomenal and convenient to everything on the island, including downtown Hamilton and south beaches. Overall, guests loved the location and views at Watercolours and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful waterside property in Bermuda.

The tables are set with crisp linen napkins, sparkling crystal, silver and a selection of healthy home-baked goodies that include homemade pastries, bread and Carole's special jams. There are gluten-free options such as home-baked ginger & banana bread available as well. The breakfast is served on individual tables set with fine china, crystal, silver and linens in the library or by the harbor. The continental breakfast is excellent with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a selection of coffee and tea. The freshly baked goods at breakfast are unbeatable and guests are raving about the beautiful presentation of the food, including the bread made fresh daily.

Carole and Joe have been described as delightful, wonderful, fantastic, charming and exceptional hosts who are generous with their time and insights into the island. They are always glad to assist guests and make sure that they have an enjoyable stay. The owners and staff are welcoming and attentive to their guests, making sure they are well looked after. The location is also lovely with easy access to the bus and ferry. Some guests have also noted that Carole and Joe went above and beyond to cater to their every need, including making quarantine easy while waiting for Covid test results.
