For those looking to explore the island, the hotel is a great jumping-off point for either exploring the Chora or the many villages in the center of the island. However, a rental car or scooter is recommended to get around. Guests praised the calm and peaceful location, but warned that the uphill walk to the hotel can be a bit dark and difficult at times.
