The resort is located on three connected islands, offering endless sea views, beautiful nature and turquoise waters with amazing coral reefs. The resort is conveniently located just a 45-minute speedboat ride from the airport and transportation around the island is provided by frequently running buses and melexes. The joint of three small islands offers many beautiful beaches, lagoons and green areas, which are perfect for long walks or bike rides. The resort is a dream island, better than the main island, which is crowded and commercial. The property is near the airport and it is easy to get around the island. The romantic island is perfect for couples, offering amazing views from water villas and many options for water sports, kayaking, paddle boats and live entertainment. The location is very Instagrammable and guests feel like they're in paradise with few people on the beaches and clear, beautiful water. It is truly an idyllic location and the resort is perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Breakfast

The breakfast buffet at Sun Siyam Olhuveli was a highlight for many guests with lots of variety and fresh options served daily. The buffet offered a wide range of choices, including Maldivian specialties, fruit and egg stations and omelette chefs. The buffet was also available for lunch and dinner, which guests found to be equally delicious. Some guests did mention that the taste could have been better, but overall, the food was great. The hotel itself is fantastic and should definitely be considered a 5-star establishment. We had a fantastic time taking part in water activities such as snorkeling and a dolphin boat tour. The floating breakfast was a great experience and the hotel was nicely decorated for Valentine's Day. Romance Island is the epitome of quiet luxury and having dinner on the beach at Magrib Grill is a must. Every evening, we enjoyed a cocktail at the Romance Bar while watching the sunset. We asked several times for our room to be decorated for our anniversary and the hotel staff proved to be incredibly accommodating. The island is the perfect place to relax and we also made some great new friends. It's a great option for honeymooners or anyone looking for a romantic break.
