Hotel La Badia di Orvieto

Originally, an abbey was built in the 6th century, but the current building was a second abbey that was built in the original's place. Many abbots, cardinals and popes have taken residence in its premises since, until the property came to the possession of an Umbrian family who turned it into a hotel.
