Location

L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows is the ideal place to unwind and relax in a beautiful and serene setting. Guests repeatedly praised the resort's great restful location and beautiful grounds that exude an old Palm Springs feel. You can expect a secluded experience with a spectacular view of the mountains, while remaining conveniently located south of Palm Springs. Although it's easy to go out and about if you have a car, for those without one, it can be slightly more challenging. Nevertheless, the location is amazing, perfect for a private retreat with friendly staff and a very well-located venue. Overall, L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows ticks all the boxes for a tranquil and enjoyable getaway in the perfect location.

Dinner

The dinner experience at L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows is truly exceptional with many guests raving about the great menu, friendly and attentive staff and delicious cocktails and food. The restaurant is fabulous and the chef is excellent with guests stating that they wish there was an alternative dining option available. The bar staff is funny and prepares great cocktails to pair with the amazing food. However, due to COVID measures, the restaurant was closed during some stays. While some guests found the food acceptable with great sides, others felt that mains like the burger could have been better or were mediocre. The only downside mentioned was long wait times due to being understaffed, though the food was still described as amazing.

Rooms

L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows boasts spacious, private bungalows with lovely patios, some featuring outdoor showers. The property itself is stunning with exceptional interior design and a clean infinity-like pool. The staff is friendly, considerate, knowledgeable and hardworking, making for a great guest experience. Despite some rooms being on the smaller side and not matching the photos, overall the rooms are comfortable, cozy and stylish. Turndown service is a nice touch and some rooms even come with hot tubs and AC window units. A complimentary upgrade to a bungalow is also possible. However, some guests experienced issues with their rooms not being ready, sewer smells and incorrect billing. It's recommended to double check the bill upon checkout. Additionally, some rooms are out of date and in need of maintenance. Despite these small setbacks, the private, quaint and charming atmosphere makes for a relaxing stay at L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows.

L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows is a beautiful hotel that boasts a quiet, well-maintained property with pristine infinity-like pools surrounded by very pretty grounds. Most guests raved about the hotel's cleanliness and organization, stating that everything was very clean and neat. They loved the clean pool, which is perfect for a relaxing swim. However, some guests noted a few issues with cleanliness, such as guests not wearing masks on the property and staff not wearing gloves when making drinks or clearing tables. Some guests found a larger beetle/roach bug in their room and towels were not clean. Some packaged food and a few food items in the mini-bar were expired or had the seals open. Additionally, some guests reported a dirty room with dirty glasses and plates left in the room. While a few guests also suffered from mold in the bathroom, sewer main issues in the bungalow and heating/air conditioning systems that smell bad, it appears that the hotel does not regularly maintain the sewer lines for clean-out. Despite a few negative reviews, most guests left happy with their clean and organized stay at L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows.

L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows boasts an exceptional staff that makes a difference in the overall guest experience. The check-in process was seamless and the valet/bell staff was kind, helpful and chatty. Luke & Gina, along with other receptionists, are efficient, personable and very knowledgeable about the hotel's history. Guests were amazed at how easy-going, friendly and accommodating every staff member was with no pretentious nature. From Kelly, the bar tender who takes good care of guests, to Andea who checks guests out and gets their car, the staff went above and beyond to make their stay exceptional. Most of the reviews rave about how fantastic, attentive and professional the staff was. Although some reviews complained of understaffing and poor service, the majority of them agree that the staff and the hotel were excellent and would return for sure.

If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious experience, look no further than L'Horizon Resort & Spa, Hermann Bungalows. The pool is definitely one of the highlights of this beautiful property - it's impeccably clean and heated to a comfortable temperature. Plus, there are plenty of sun loungers to relax on while you soak up the sun. If you're feeling hungry, the poolside bar offers delicious food and drinks delivered right to your seat, even if you're in the pool! The pool area itself is divine with cabanas and an outdoor shower to cool off in. The bocce ball court is a fun addition, too. Despite the hotel's popularity, the pool area is intimate enough for everyone to have their own space. Overall, we loved the clean infinity-like pool and the attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Don't forget to try lunch by the pool - it's a great way to experience the resort's fantastic views while enjoying fantastic food.
