Unfortunately, the buffet is limited and some guests have described it as "prison quality," but given the current pandemic situation, the hotel is still offering its breakfast service in a safe and socially distanced manner. While there's no ordering of coffee or service, the breakfast is still lovely and offers a delightful start to your Sonoran desert day.

Guests loved the feel of the whole property, a real holiday oasis. The ranch-style setting is simply wonderful, making it the perfect place for those looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat. Most of the rooms were clean, aesthetically pleasing and surprisingly quiet. The retro furniture added to the delightful feel of the rooms. The warm pool was a hit with many guests. However, some rooms were extremely bare bones with poor lighting and pebble floors. Several negative reviews also mentioned the presence of cockroaches in their rooms. Nevertheless, the friendly staff and lovely concept continue to attract many guests to Sparrows Lodge.
