Location

Hotel Penzance boasts a perfect location that guests raved about in their reviews. Situated conveniently close to the train station and next to the beach, it is ideal for travellers arriving by train. The hill leading up to the hotel may be a bit steep for some, but the stunning views from the windows and the restaurant are worth the climb. Guests were thrilled with the exceptional views of the sea and St. Michael's Mount that some of the rooms offer. The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre, where visitors can enjoy sightseeing and local attractions. Overall, the location of Hotel Penzance is excellent and guests loved its convenient accessibility to the train and bus stations, wharf and other amenities.

Breakfast

Guests at Hotel Penzance have left mixed feedback regarding the breakfast options. Some guests found the breakfast to be amazing, wonderful, high standard and excellent with a good choice of well-prepared food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The buffet breakfast, which was not included in the price, was lovely and charged as a continental meal with a good choice of options such as eggs Florentine that were perfectly cooked. However, other guests found the breakfast to be poor with overpriced and limited options, resulting in additional charges for breakfast. Many guests found it confusing, cold and below average with some describing it as a dried-out croissant in a bowl with no toast or tea spoons provided. Some guests found it difficult to choose healthy options, while others believed that breakfast should be included in the price. If you're looking for a hotel with a heated outdoor pool, look no further than Hotel Penzance! Their pool is a sun trap, perfect for relaxation during your stay. Even though it's a smaller pool, it's still a great spot to cool off and soak up some rays. While there's not much information available about pool usage, rest assured that the open air pool is well-maintained and perfect for a refreshing swim. Unfortunately, during our stay, the pool wasn't open yet, but we're sure that when it is, it'll be a highlight of our visit. Some guests did mention that they wouldn't use the outside swimming pool despite it being available, so keep that in mind when planning your trip. All in all, Hotel Penzance's outdoor pool is a great addition to your stay and is definitely worth checking out!
