Location
Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is located in a beautiful and convenient spot in North Phoenix. The surroundings of the hotel are elegant and the views are breathtaking. It is a great spot to stay for those who enjoy hiking as it provides excellent access to the hiking trails. The resort is not very close to shopping or dining options but everything is still within reach. The amenities are great and the staff is excellent. Rooms are nice and the property is well-kept despite being an older property. However, the layout and numbering system of the complex can be confusing for some. It is important to note that a car is necessary to fully enjoy and explore the area. If you're looking for a different and exciting travel experience with a beautiful scenery and great location, Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a perfect choice.

Breakfast
The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort offers a delicious breakfast experience. You can enjoy a freshly made omelet that is sure to satisfy. While some guests found the breakfast buffet to be limited in options and the food cold and unappetizing, others enjoyed the buffet and found it to be good. You can grab breakfast at the café by the pool but be aware that breakfast vouchers are not always provided. Unfortunately, there are no other dining options available on-site past 11 am with very few options available overall. Additionally, there is no room service available. However, despite these limitations, the breakfast buffet is a highlight of the hotel, offering a good selection of food.

Rooms
The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort offers guests a mixed experience when it comes to their rooms. Some guests report dirty and outdated rooms, while others describe spacious and comfortable accommodations with beautiful views of the mountains. Some rooms are in desperate need of remodeling and TLC with dirty carpets and furniture, moldy bathrooms and missing items. However, other guests describe clean and comfortable furnishings in updated rooms. The beds are reported as comfortable and some suites are spacious like an apartment. Some guests report issues with the bedding, such as lack of upper sheets and uncomfortable old mattresses. Amenities like microwaves and USB ports are lacking in some rooms, while others describe clean and semi-easy to navigate accommodations. Bugs are reported in some rooms, while others have fabulous pool views. Some guests had issues with their rooms not being ready on time and some had to deal with flooded rooms. Overall, while some rooms need updating and cleaning, others are nice, clean and comfortable, but the property could benefit from an overall update to justify the overpriced nightly rates.

Beds
While there were a few negative comments about uncomfortable and old beds, overall the bedding at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort seems to be quite comfortable. Some guests even described the beds as "comfy as hell." However, there were a few complaints about pull-out mattresses being too thin or squeaky bedding. Some guests also found dirty tissues or stained sheets, but these were isolated incidents. Overall, it seems that the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort provides a comfortable sleeping experience for its guests.

Cleanliness
Guests of the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort have left mixed reviews regarding the cleanliness of the hotel. While some guests reported dirty rooms with stained towels and bugs, many others reported that the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff
According to guest reviews, the staff at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort was either incredibly friendly and nice or rude and disrespectful. The check-in process could be slow with a lack of transparency from staff, but some staff members went above and beyond to help guests locate bookings or find missing items. Some guests had concerns about being under-staffed, but the staff who were present were hard-working and accommodating. Guests who interacted with restaurant servers, golf staff, shuttle drivers and pool staff spoke highly of their friendliness and positive attitudes. Overall, the resort boasted exceptional service, great food and a fantastic location.

Wi-Fi
The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort provides exceptional amenities and services for guests, but some reviewers noted issues with the internet connection and phone service. Several guests mentioned that the wifi was slow or not strong enough, while others experienced no wifi at all in their rooms. Unfortunately, some were not informed of the wifi issues upon check-in. Despite these challenges, the hotel did offer an upcharge for better internet for those who needed it. Overall, guests were pleased with their stay but suggest that the hotel improve their wifi and communication regarding any issues that guests may experience.

Pool
If you're looking for a hotel with a fantastic pool area, you should consider the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort. This resort has multiple pools and hot tubs throughout the property, providing plenty of options for guests to cool off from the Arizona heat. The variety of pools is great, including an adult pool with a swim-up bar and numerous small private pool areas. Families with kids will also appreciate the several pools specifically for younger guests. Although some guests mentioned that the pools could use some maintenance and better cleaning, the majority of reviews were positive. Guests also raved about the beautiful scenery surrounding the pools.

While the water park on the property is a nice bonus, some guests found it hard to utilize due to its early closing time. Another downside was the lack of pool service and minimal room service options. However, the staff at the pool bar received high praise for their service. On the other hand, one guest had a negative experience with the pool staff being rude and unattentive.

Overall, the pool area at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a great place for families and those wanting a relaxing stay with beautiful views. However, during peak times, the pool area can get crowded and guests may struggle to find available seating. Additionally, some guests noted issues with the cleanliness of the pool area with litter, flies and stained lounge chairs being mentioned. Despite these few negatives, the majority of guests had a great time at the pool area and would recommend the resort to others.

Family
The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is the perfect place for a family staycation! With multiple pools, including a water park area, there's no shortage of fun for both families and couples. Although some guests mention the lack of food options and outdated decor, the resort's kid-friendly atmosphere more than makes up for it. The staff even brought out hula hoops, jump ropes and a Jenga game for a few hours of entertainment. The lovely views and hikes right off the property are an added bonus. However, some guests note that the small pools beside the family pool and the noise from other children can be bothersome. Still, overall, the resort is highly recommended for families - even grandparents find it a great place to take their grandkids! Plus, its close proximity to Grand Canyon University makes for a great distraction from moving kids back into college.

Golf
If you're looking for a resort with excellent golf courses, the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort might just be what you need.
