The origins of this marvellous resort can be traced back to the 13th century, thanks to the discovery of original internal stonework, which is still visible in the hotel today.

The hotel’s name ‘Le Fontanelle’ derives from the pre-existing water fountains and stone ‘fonts’, which were used for gathering spring water. These were renovated and enlarged during the first half of the 19th century utilising existing medieval materials that were found on site.

With its 36 rooms divided into five different typologies (entry level Classic Room, Prestige Room with small private garden, spacious Deluxe Room, Junior Suite with private outdoor space and Suite with private garden), the hotel proposes a special refined comfort, turning into the perfect choice for a pleasant holiday, a romantic honeymoon, spellbound marriages, meetings, eno-gastronomic paths, or simply for a relaxing break in the name of wellbeing and interior peacefulness research.

All rooms are elegantly furnished with sober decorations in typical Tuscan style, with terracotta floors and visible wooden beams.
