The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown is the perfect accommodation if you want to be close to everything. The location is fantastic and it's just a short walk to the PPG Paint arena. Many guests appreciate the hotel's excellent location as it's conveniently located for scheduled activities, business or attending events like NHL games or concerts. The neighborhood is lively with a 7-Eleven located in the building and a Subway entrance across the street. It's also within walking distance of the convention center, local bars and restaurants. Moreover, the hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Despite some reviews stating that the neighborhood didn't feel safe and the outside noises made it hard to sleep, the overall impression is that this hotel has an ideal location which makes it a great choice for sightseeing or attending events in downtown Pittsburgh.
